Make Jamaica a Powerhouse of Women STEM Leaders

In Jamaica, nearly 45% of Computer Science graduates are female. Only 18% are in the USA.

Studies also show that Jamaican female students also outperform their male peers at all levels of education.

Why it Matters

University of the West Indies, Jamaica students volunteering with the Palisadoes Foundation.

Jamaican women need our help to become international STEM leaders. The Palisadoes Foundation provides practical internships using volunteer IT industry mentors. Our stipends allow students to focus their summer on morphing to coders, innovators and international contributors.

Donate to the Calico Challenge internship and help the future women leaders in STEM.
